Community Carol Sing

Join us in singing a variety of modern and traditional Christmas songs on Wednesday, December 18th! Singing starts at 6:30pm, followed a reception. We encourage the donation of non-parishable food items or funds for the Wakefield Food Pantry. All are welcome!

Blue Christmas, aka Longest Night

This service is traditionally held on the longest night of the year and is a chance for those who find the Advent/Christmas season difficult, who have lost loved ones or, are grieving other losses. It is also the traditional feast day of St Thomas the Apostle - which means that we are in good company with those for whom darkness makes it harder to believe in the Resurrection. It is a service of comfort and healing for those who are suffering.

Soup-and-Baguette Lunch

GSW is hosting a community soup-and-baguette lunch after service on the first Sunday of each month. We hope that you will come and bring your family and friends to enjoy some food and socialize. A free-will offering will be accepted to help maintain the church's presence in our community. The next lunch will be February 2, 2025.
