Rentals

We have rental space at two of our facilities. In our Wakefield location we also rent chairs.

Insurance

For space rentals we require proof of public liability insurance. However, if you do not have insurance for your group, then we also offer low-cost third party liability insurance through our insurer. For more information, please review the application form and rates:

To purchase event insurance for your rental simply mention it to the hall convener or rental coordinator (their names and contact information are listed on the right), fill out the application form (link given above) and have the payment ready before your first event date. The insurance begins at that time. We will mail in the application and cheque.

Rental Locations

1. St. Mary Magdalene is in Chelsea and rents out its hall, which has full kitchen facilities. Currently it is rented by community groups for various events during the week. Access is at gr

ound level with no stairs required to access the hall or facilities.

Our rates, not including one-time insurance, are $35 per session (morning, afternoon or evening) or $70 for a full day. If you are interested in renting the hall for your event, please contact the Parish Office at 819-827-8171.

2. The Church of the Good Shepherd has both chairs for rent, as well as its basement. There are some community groups rented the basement on week night and some Saturdays. Access to the basement requres the use of stairs and the facilities have a raised floor.

Garderie des Petits Papillons / Little Butterfly Day Care

The Children's Garden is a registered preschool offering a program for children aged 3 to 5. This program is designed to enhance your child's cognitive, physical and social skills and to provide the necessary tools needed to ensure a successful transition to kindergarten.

The Wakefield Cubs and Scouts

Cabane a Jeux / Toy Library

Cabane à Jeux (Wakefield, QC) is a place for local children and families to play and learn, meet each other, and swap resources. All families in the municipality of La Pêche are welcome to attend their events and playgroups and to join the Joujouthèque La Pêche Toy Library. Most of the volunteers can assist you in French or English.
